The Element is a four piece band that features a three piece rhythm section and a female lead vocalist.* The band combines learned musicianship with a youthful attitude. Providing a fun, passionate, energetic, danceable and highly musical show for its audience is job one for this band of seasoned professionals. The Element plays a wide variety of hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s and today with a delightful twist of their own personalities. While the Element repertoire focusses on the big hits by female vocalists, lead guitarist Ray Buyco sings some of the essential classic male vocal hits as well. Like Drive! and Drive! (lite), the Element is skilled at choosing the right song at the right time.
The Element is an excellent choice for most events. However, there are several distinct reasons why you might want to choose this band for your next event. If you like a band that features a female vocalist, or if you need a band to fit onto a small stage or a small space and play at soft volumes, or if there are tight budget parameters yet live music is preferred over recorded music, then this small band with a big sound is right for the job.

*- The rhythm section also adds backing vocals and the occasional lead vocal.
*- Optional Keyboardist is available for an additional fee.
"A final difference was the choice of music. Normally GB enlists the band Jazz Unlimited but in this instance, we were treated to the band Element. Fronted by bandleader Ray Buyco, Element is a 4-piece band that cover a wide variety of music, but mostly rock. They rocked GB that night! Their female vocalist had a wireless microphone and was free to move about and interact with the audience. Just as impressive, Buyco wandered around the tented patio area bringing his guitar solos to the masses. At one point, the rhythm had caught Mrs. BetterBeerBlog. As she was dancing, Buyco strolled over to our area and delivered a blistering guitar solo that Mrs. BetterBeerBlog mirrored “air guitar” style. I’ve been to quite a few tapping parties but this was the first time I ever saw the audience call the band back out for an encore. My only regret that evening was not having my phone out and recording a bit of the band as well as Mrs. BetterBeerBlog rocking the air guitar!"
